Deborah Lennie grew up in Australia, studied classical piano and voice at the Sydney Conservatorium of music, and theatre at the Actor's Centre Sydney. She directs the performance company For Want of a Better, She has composed and performed for choreographers, film and theatre. She lives and works in France.
